The objective of MAE library is to participate actively in the educational mission of the college through collection and dissemination of information to meet the curricular and general needs of the students, faculty and staff. To expand the information resources available, by establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with educational institutions and other organizations, to respect and preserve the knowledge of the past, for future.
The library supports the teaching-learning program of the institute with an excellent collection of text books, reference books, general books, journals and magazines, book bank books, encyclopedia, handbooks, data sheets, bound volumes, CD-ROMs, Floppies and other reading material. It has adequate infrastructure to meet its requirements, has computerized all its operations using software and provides access to the collection through OPAC. MAE library follows open access system that allows users a direct access to the library collection. Besides being the first ISO certified engineering library, it is also the first engineering library in Pune that implemented barcode technology for circulation.
