He is the Founder Director of MAEER -
the parent body of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering, Alandi.
His vision of promoting excellence in Education has resulted in the
establishment of almost 30 institutes from KG to PG in various fields ranging
from school education to Engineering, Medicine, Management and Research.
Dr. Karad
is an eminent teacher and an able administrator with a teaching experience
of 35 years in

was awarded the Degree of Doctorate in Philosophy and Education by the
International University
of Washington. He has received numerous other awards for his
work.

Adv. Bhaskarrao
Avhad has been a practicing lawyer since 1968 and has
practiced in the areas of Civil, Criminal, Revenue and Co-op. sides. He has a
standing of 32 years and has conducted many matters in Supreme Court, High
Courts and District Courts.
He has participated in a large
number of conferences at national and international levels and has submitted
papers at such conferences
Mr. Avhad
besides practicing as a lawyer is also a writer. He has written books on law
and has a collection of poems to his credit. He is also honoured
with the prestigious 'Bandhutva Puraskar
- 95', 'Guru Mahatmya Puraskar
- 98'.

A postgraduate in Mechanical
Engineering, Prof. Mangesh T. Karad
is an able administrator and has been actively involved in initiating and
establishing new projects for MAEER.

A PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the
University of Sheffield, UK, he shoulders the responsibility of being the
Executive Director of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering. A wide international
exposure and strong administrative skills in him enables a smooth running of
the institute keeping latest technological and academic developments intact.
His academic excellence helps in the
guidance for research projects undertaken at the institute.

in Applied Mechanics from IIT Delhi and pursued a PhD in Structures. With a
teaching experience of over 15 years, he is well known in the student community

Meetings and Academic Advisory Body
The Board meets twice a year to
discuss the various important issues related to the institution. This generally
comprises of land purchases / lease, infrastructure development, budget
requisition / allocation, issues related to the AICTE and the DTE, admissions,
recruitment etc.
