INFORMATION FOR NEW STUDENTS

Identity Cards (Smart Cards): All students must have a college identity card. This is needed to access services such as the library, computer facilities and for examination purpose. MAE has been the pioneer in the use of smart cards for students. The smart card has inbuilt memory wherein the personal data of the holder of the card is saved for life long. The cards need to be flashed at the readers installed at various places in the college like class rooms, laboratories, library and internet center. The card provides access control on the movement of staff and students. It is used also for the purpose of attendance and its use in E-purse is noteworthy. It eliminates the use of cash for day-to-day transactions.

Exam Database: To make the past exam papers easily accessible, we have provided for bound volumes of these papers to all the students at the beginning of the semester itself.

Student Support Services: This cell functions by providing new students with advice, counseling and guidance on all aspects and help arrange for financial assistance.
