ABOUT R & D:
Research is an original contribution to the existing stock of knowledge making for its advancement. It is the pursuit of truth with the help of study, observation, comparison, experiment, collecting the facts or data, analyzing the facts and reaching certain conclusions either in the form of solution(s) towards the concerned problem or in certain generalizations for some theoretical formulation. In short, the search for knowledge through objective and systematic method of finding solution to a problem is research.
In Research and Development, we do research for the development of new techniques/ methods for understanding a particular phenomena and develop a product as per the requirements of industry / society. Research and Development is used to develop a new product with better qualities than the existing one by research. This will benefit the company or organization in terms of quality, cost, manpower, energy consumption, time etc.
