ABOUT

The Department of Mathematics is working as a supporting department to all the Engineering Science Departments.

Mathematics is the oldest academic subject and is still very much alive and growing very fast. It has two different aspects: the fundamental and the applied. Mathematics advent of computers and data acquisition facilities has stretched the limits of what is possible in Mathematics to all branches of human endeavor. It has wide range of applications to physical, biological, social, economics, computing, engineering and so on. This has given rise to new IT based techniques of mathematical study and created new computational methods for faster convergence. Thus Mathematics is an indispensable tool for research in all fields of engineering. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The department is headed by Dr. S.M.Khairnar, a dedicated and devoted teacher. He has more than 18 years teaching, research and administrative experience. He is in close contact with the faculties at various universities to improvise new methods and techniques in teaching and research.
