The hostellers celebrated the "Dussera" and "Navratri" in the hostel for two days and have enjoyed the Dandiya dance. They have also organized a cultural event to celebrate the festival of Lights: "Diwali" with zeal and enthusiasm in the midst of the Principal, Chief Rector, the HOD's and the Rectors.

To replenish the dire needs of the hostellers, the Principal, Dr.J.P.George has inaugurated a utility shop in the hostel. This shop provides standard quality stationery and engineering study materials along with day-to-day use general items. Hostellers studying late night can also have tea/coffee and packed food items. |

Recreation room is updated with a latest 29" colour TV. The table tennis boards are also placed there along with chess and carom boards. The hostel is also provided with a round the clock security which is the utmost prerequisite for a boy's safety. Newspapers, magazines and sports journals are introduced to keep the hostellers abreast with the current affairs of the world |

Dr.Ashok Maindad (MBBS) has taken charge of Medical Officer in the hostel so the clinic with basic medical facilities is available for the needy students. |

To encourage hostellers doing their own laundry, we have provided an automatic temperature controlling ironing machine. The work on internet facility in all rooms of the hostel is completed and on 14th November 2006, the Principal has inaugurated INTERNET CONNECTIVITY. Hostellers are enjoying the net in their rooms free of cost. |
