Internet Center

MAE invests substantially in computer equipments and latest software to ensure that students have ready access to up to date technology. There is a dedicated Internet center available to the students essentially for web browsing purpose with a reasonable number of computers. A centralized Internet browsing facility is made available for students and staff members. It is connected with a lease line, to facilitate high speed Internet surfing. State-of-art IBM servers are connected through a structured network. Printing facility is also made available for students and staff in the laboratory. To provide optimum browsing services to the students, the Internet Center remains open on all seven days in the week from 8.00am to I 0.00 pm.

Accommodation

MAE offers excellent and cost-effective hostel facilities. The hostels are adequate to provide safe and secure environment and all the inmates of the hostels have to observe the rules and regulations. The girls’ hostel can accommodate 30 and the boys’ hostel can accommodate 230 students.

The salient features of the hostel are as follows:

• Double seated room with an area of 15m 2 and an attached toilet.
• Excellent furniture and fixtures for every room.
• Mess facility
• Hot water facility.
• Generator back-up round the clock.
• 24 hr vigil by rectors and attendants.
• Outsourced housekeeping to ensure a 24 hr alert on cleanliness.
• Recreation room with television and indoor games facility.
• Resident doctor and clinic within the hostel.
• Internet connectivity and telephone (cabling work is completed, but not activated).

Auditorium

MAE has a state of art auditorium. It is sound proof, fully digitalized and has centralized air conditioning . It also has audio-video facility for all types of seminars, conferences, and presentations with a seating capacity of 125 people. It also has ceiling mounted LCD for ease of presentations.

Library

The library supports the teaching-learning program of the institute with an excellent collection of text books, reference books, general books, journals and magazines, book bank books, encyclopedia, handbooks, data sheets, bound volumes, CD-ROMs, Floppies and other reading material. It has adequate infrastructure to meet its requirements, has computerized all its operations using software and provides access to the collection through OPAC. MAE library follows open access system that allows users a direct access to the library collection. Besides being the first ISO certified engineering library, it is also the first engineering library in Pune that implemented barcode technology for circulation.

Sports Facilities

The sports ground houses a number of outdoor games facilities like Basket ball, Cricket,Volley Ball and Lawn tennis. It also has a well-developed jogging track to cater to the needs of the health buffs. Special care is taken for the maintenance of the entire ground. Indoor game facilities like Table Tennis, carrom, and badminton is also provided.

Banking Facility

MAE has tied up with the Union Bank of India to provide extended facility of banking services to staff and students and also to the outside customers. Thus, an extension counter has been opened in the campus. To facilitate the after working hour requirement of cash , an ATM center will also be started soon in the college campus.
